Sahara Rain is a
mixture of modern and classic rock paired with oriental influences.
Although the band was formed in 2007, it took another year until the
final line-up was in place with Ricci (Vocals), Boet (Bass), Dave (Lead
Guitar), Adrian (Lead Guitar), Bo (Keyboards) and Levent (Drums). All
musicians have been playing their instruments for over 20 years, played
in various bands and developed their own style on their instruments
over time.

In 2009 they successfully released their debut albbum 'Sand In Your
Hands'. Since the album was released, songs like 'Black Gold', 'The Man
You Are' and 'Shadow' receive regular airplay in the USA and Europe as
global interest for the band keeps growing.
Sahara Rain will be touring Germany and Switzerland between October
2009 and January 2010. In early 2010 they will be recording their 2nd
album in Germany, which will be released early next year. This new
album will also be produced by MICHAEL BORMANN and pre- production work
has been going on since April this year.
